A Very Nice Purchase, This box works very well for all my needs. There is a mode of music, which makes the response much healthier and a video mode that allows the subwoofer to go all out.
I listen to classical music and jazz and the subwoofer is well balanced with the music mode. Do not turn the music up to ear blisteringly difficult, but I have not noticed any distortion. In fact, I recently listened to the 1812 Overture conducted by Sir Neville Marriner with real guns … I had to rearrange the glasses in the kitchen …
When watching movies (especially the blue-ray), this cabinet also conducting quiet well. Once again, I'm not high enough to make my ears bleed, but I got up high enough. This kick box was quiet! I looked at my new classic DVD (Matrix, LOTR, etc.), because the movie experience is greatly improved.
This is my first subwoofer and are extremely satisfied. I'm sure you can get a much more powerful for more money, but personally I do not want something more powerful.
